If you suffer from dry eye, corneal erosions, lagophthalmos, or tired, red eyes, this instant-use kit can offer immediate relief.

Our flagship product, the latex free tranquileyes® with Beads & Instants comes with two reusable gel pack technologies:

  • The Instants (blue), which provides over 150 treatments of 15-18 minutes.

  • The Beads (green), which provides another 60 treatments of 12-15 minutes.

How do they work? Super simple. Both use water and heat to release critical oils from the meibomian glands, improving the quality of your natural tears, as well as slowing evaporation. They increase humidity, stabilizing the tear film and hydrating sensitive eyelid skin. The result? A solution to your chronic dry eye. Both gel packs can also be used for 12-15 minute cold therapies that help reduce eye lid puffiness and sinus pressure, while the goggles create complete darkness, making them comfortable for sleep. Plus, the soft foam padded eye covers shelter your dry eyes from drafts, air conditioning and forced air heating. There’s a reason it’s recommended by doctors across the world.

The kit is also perfect for general care and prevention. Keeping your eyes hydrated is key to long-term eye health, which may have a positive impact on productivity and focus, in the workplace and at home.

  • To prepare moist-heat therapies, microwave the Beads in their fabric pockets and mesh bag in 1 cup of water for 45 seconds. Let stand for 1 minute and place inside goggles.
If you prefer to use the Instants, simply activate them by clicking the disc inside the gel pack back and forth until it starts generating heat. Moisten the included thermopads and place along Instants into the back of the goggle. Don’t forget to boil the gel packs after each use for 2-3 minutes to reset them.
For cold treatments, insert Instants (with thermopads) or Beads (with fabric pockets) into the back of the goggle. Place the goggle in a self-sealing plastic bag and leave in the freezer for 15-20 minutes.
You can also sleep with the goggle and moisten the black foam inserts to increase humidity around the eyes.
If you need further assistance or you have lost your instructions, don’t hesitate in contacting us.
  • Hand wash black foam inserts, white thermopads, and white fabric pockets with mild soap and warm water after each use. Rinse well, squeeze out extra moisture and air dry in enclosed mesh bag. Wash plastic eye covers with foam attached in the same way, as needed. Foam (outer cushion and inner pad) should be replaced periodically, typically after 60 uses.

  • Aqueous Deficient Dry Eye, Sjögren's Syndrome

This syndrome is an autoimmune disease characterized by dry eyes and mouth. The immune system of people suffering from Sjögren’s Syndrome attacks the glands that keep these lubricated, but it also affects the whole body. About 4 million Americans have Sjögren’s Syndrome, and it’s more common in women. Symptoms include gritty or burning sensation in the eyes, dry mouth, lips, throat and eyes, difficulty talking, chewing or swallowing and joint pain.

Treatment is symptomatic; dry eye caused by Sjögren’s Syndrome is often treated with warm compresses, artificial tears, punctual plugs, cyclosporine or corticosteroids.

    Recurrent Corneal Erosions

A corneal erosion occurs when the outer layer of the cornea (epithelium) is damaged. It can occur because of scratches, foreign bodies entering the eye or not properly fitted contact lenses.

Corneal erosions usually heal on their own in a few days, but eye patching is recommended. This prevents you from rubbing your eye, reduces pain and facilitates healing. People prone to suffer recurrent corneal erosions are advised to use sleeping masks or ointments at night.
