Thermoeyes – Self Contained Climate Control for Your Eyes

Boost the benefits of tranquileyes original and water therapies with thermoeyes reusable gel packs. Thermoeyes tuck inside the tranquileyes goggle and can be used with or without the moist foam insert (thermopad) which accompanies them.

There are two versions of thermoeyes – an instant, portable version (blue packet for hot AND cold) and a microwaveable version (green packet for hot only). Thermoeyes are used with a thin moistened foam pad (instead of the thick gray pad), to increase the moist heat and cold treatments.

The instant (blue gel pack) are made with Sodium Acetate (non-toxic, food grade salt water). For heat on demand, simply snap the stainless steel disc inside the gel pack, back and forth. This action creates a sound that changes the molecular structure of the sodium acetate from liquid to crystal, which causes heat.

After activating for heat, the gel packs are tucked inside the tranquileyes goggle. You can then and covered with a warm moistened foam pad (thermoeyes). The extra heat helps open the meibomian glands (approximately 80 of them tucked under your eyelashes), aiding the body in releasing the oils needed to slow evaporation of natural tears.

Thermoeyes intensify and prolong the sensation of heat for 30 - 40 minutes and are reusable about 100 times. To reuse the blue thermoeyes for heat, simply boil in continuous boiling water for 2-3 minutes. This process reverses the molecular action, melting the crystals to bring them back to a liquid state. Once cooled, simply snap again for heat. The blue instant version can also be used to boost cold therapies by placing them in the freezer or refrigerator.

The Microwave version of thermoeyes are green and made of a non-toxic sugar water. They are best used for heat, not cold. They too boost the benefits of the original tranquileyes moist heat therapy. The microwave thermoeyes are best heated by placing in a coffee cup of water, then placing the entire cup in the microwave for about a minute. When done, simply store and reheat again as directed. Unlike the blue, the microwave version heat by warming in water first.
