Tranquileyes to Relieve Dry Eye Syndrome
For many people, dry eye is a chronic condition that can significantly impact the way they live and sleep. Dry eye is the result of a reduction in your eye’s ability to produce sufficient natural tears. Treating dryness is not only important for your comfort, but also for your eye’s health. Besides lubricating the eye, the tear film helps fight infection, provides nourishment, and creates a smooth surface on the cornea, keeping your vision clear.
Chronic dry eye is caused by autoimmune diseases like Sjogren’s syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis and lupus. Other causes include certain medications, hormonal changes experienced during pregnancy and post menopause, bletharitis, extensive contact lens use, and allergies.
Some of the symptoms of dry eye include itching, burning, irritation, redness, blurred vision that improves with blinking, excessive tearing and increased discomfort after periods of reading, watching TV, or using a computer.
Protect your eyes with tranquileyes
If you suffer from any of the above symptoms, or use artificial tears or ointments, tranquileyes can help relieve dryness and provide comfort to your eyes. Used alone or with artificial tears or ointments, tranquileyes increases hydration in your eyes. By comfortably sealing the area around your eye, tranquileyes naturally increases temperature and humidity in the enclosed eye area. This increase in humidity reduces the evaporation rate of natural tears. Reducing the evaporation of tears improves comfort and helps thicken the lipid layer, thus improving the health of your eyes.
tranquileyes relieves dry eye symptoms and soothes your eyes by creating a moisture-rich environment for your eyes.
Use tranquileyes whenever your eyes feel dehydrated or tired. For those diagnosed with severe dry eyes, we recommend wearing tranquileyes while sleeping. They comfortably lock in moisture and enable you to wake up with refreshed, well-lubricated eyes. tranquileyes eye hydrating therapy is hypoallergenic and made from FDA approved materials.
Recipe for Long Lasting Relief
If you have Sjogren’s or suffer from Dry Eye Syndrome, use tranquileyes daily. We suggest wearing it at night while you sleep. The therapy will preserve tears during the night and allow you to wake up with refreshed, lubricated eyes.
To soothe tired, dry eyes:
For best results, clean your eyelids and area around the eye well with mild soap and rinse with warm water. Soak your tranquileyes moisture pads in shower temperature filtered or distilled water. While pads are soaking, apply a warm, moistened face cloth over freshly cleaned eyes and face for at least five minutes. Gently wring out warmed moisture pads, place in tranquileyes and begin your eye hydrating therapy. Wear for at least 30 minutes, or longer.
For extremely dry eyes:
Follow the above directions, and apply a dose of your favorite artificial tears and/or ointment before putting on your tranquileyes. Slip into bed and enjoy the wonderful feeling of having warm, moistened, well-lubricated eyes. Wear as long as comfortable. Many wear tranquileyes through the night. However, you do not have to wear tranquileyes all night to experience the benefits. Wearing 30-45 minutes will bring immediate relief. We recommend sleeping with your tranquileyes on if you experience severe dry eyes. Be patient. Experience suggests it takes two to three weeks of regular use with severe dry eyes to start noticing a significant difference. It will be worth the effort.
To rejuvenate puffy, swollen eyes:
Simply follow the above instructions while using moisture pads that have been soaked in ice water, or placed in the freezer for 10 minutes. The cool moisture pillows will help reduce puffiness and refresh the entire eye area.
The longer you wear tranquileyes, the better the results.
After wearing tranquileyes, simply wash with mild anti-bacterial soap or baby shampoo and rinse with warm water, hang dry.
Tranquileyes does not replace any medication recommended by your doctor; rather it should be use in conjunction with your existing eye treatments, as an enhancement to that treatment. Please consult your eye doctor before using.
